We’re heading out to the country today as The Film Reel has a review for To Make A Farm posted over at Toronto Film Scene. Take my word for it, this has a lot less to do with farming than you might imagine. Check it out.
Director Steven Suderman takes a look at 5 young people who have decided to start small farms, even though they have no experience in the field. What you might expect was a documentary strictly about the hard work behind running a farm, turns out to be a film exploring the reasons why these young people chose this life, and how they manage to find their place in the world through it. You can read the full review at the Toronto Film Scene website.
