Last year at the Toronto After Dark Film Festival, I had the chance to watch the amazing film Deadheads. I was also able to meet stars Natalie Victoria and Markus Taylor, along with co-director Brett Pierce. Their film may have been incredible, but chatting with the three of them was even more entertaining, which only made me enjoy their film that much more.
Since they’ve made my zombie life a little brighter, it’s time for me to return the favour. Right now, the crew behind Deadheads is raising funds for a Deadheads short film featuring Markus Taylor’s character Cheese. He’s the lovable puppy dog zombie that travels with the lead characters in the film, and he’s a favourite around my household. Head over to their indiegogo page and pledge your support right now! There’s some great perks to be had, and you’ll also be lending a hand to one of the best teams out there.
I know they’ll be creating something special and it will be nice to know that my donation will help that creation come crawling from the grave. Spread the word and help the undead Cheese come back to life in his own Deadheads prequel short film! Besides, your donations will keep the zombies busy at work, meaning they won’t have time to take over the world. At least not yet.
