Saturday is quite easy to explain. It was Skyrim Saturday. That sums up my entire day and evening. I woke up, put a load of laundry in the washing machine, unloaded the dishwasher, and put my game on.
I did have to stop playing my game long enough to buy some groceries and take my girlfriend out for some shopping, but I didn’t have to be happy about it. This was only taking away from my mindless entertainment. Although, shopping with my girlfriend leaves me in a mindless state anyway. I imagine I looked a little like a zombie following her around the store. All I could think about were those damn skeletons in Skyrim anyway, I guess I was just externalizing my thoughts.
I didn’t just spend my Saturday killing villains and shopping, I also nursed a headache all day. I guess the few beers I had on Friday still managed to go to my head. I only wish I had been able to get some Tylenol at the grocery store when I did my shopping. I have to wonder if it really was the beer though. Staring at the TV for hours on end probably wasn’t helping that head pain much.
That really was my entire Saturday. I’m sure my girlfriend wished it was a bit different, but I was loving it. With the kids at their mother’s house for the weekend, this seemed like the first time in weeks where I just did nothing for an entire day. I completely took advantage of it.
That’s not very exciting for you guys, but it was one of the best days I’ve had in a few weeks!
